Nano Particle Manufacturing (NPM)
NanoGram's proprietary process technology and company-developed equipment have transformed laser pyrolysis into a viable platform to develop and manufacture nanoscale materials.

Using its patented laser pyrolysis process, NanoGram builds nanoscale particles from the atomic level. A unique reactor system creates a precisely defined, continuous-flow chemical reaction zone, in which simple or complex compounds are condensed from the gas phase into nanoparticle form. In contrast to conventional processes, such as milling, sol-gel and metal vaporization, the conditions of particle formation are uniform for each particle and reaction byproducts are easily separated. The NPM method is unsurpassed in quality, purity, composition control, particle size control and cost effectiveness.

Size Control and Uniformity
Mean particle size is controllable in the range of 5 to 200nm. Distributions are typically produced with more than 95% of particles less than 2 times the mean particle size due to the uniformity of thermal history and rapid quenching of the NPM process. The NPM process has no large particle "tail" to detract from the nanomaterials effects.

Crystalline Phase Control
The ability of the NPM process to control oxygen concentration as well as temperature, residence time and cooling rate independently enables the production of uniform highly crystalline nanoparticles of either of the two most common phases of TiO2 – anatase or rutile – or mixed phase.

Rapid Discovery using a Scalable Process
Precursor versatility and ability to quickly change precursor mixture and concentration enable rapid material discovery using the same process used for production.
